Susan and Terry Brennan aren`t new to owning a business. They have owned two salons/spas and a professional pet sitting business. They believe excellence is expected. Customer service is a priority and anything less is not acceptable. They look forward to taking care of your pet as they would their own! Dog boarding is not just a job, but it`s our passion!

We know you want to enjoy worry free time away whether it`s for a day or a week. We check in with you, by sending you daily texts from your pet! Just request the complimentary service when you arrive! We offer dog grooming so give your baby a spa day before they leave! We aren`t just a kennel, we are like home! We pride ourselves by giving that one on one attention for your pet.

Our staff is trained in Dog Behavior, Pet First Aid and CPR. This helps us recognize if your pet is in distress. We are onsite owners so your pets are monitored continuously. As an extra saftey precaution Lucky Mutz is a collar free facility. Collars and harnesses are removed before going into a run.

ONSITE OWNERS
Terry and Susan Brennan reside on the property so you can rest assured that your pets are taken care of at all times. We let the dogs out by 7-7:30 in the morning and the last let out about 8 p.m. This means that your dogs are much more comfortable not having to "HOLD IT" until the staff comes back in.
In the Winter the dogs are let out at least every hour but in the nice weather months, their runs are left open, weather permitting, so they are free to come and go!
OUR SUITES
One option is our Indoor/Outdoor suites. The inside suites are 4x6 and the outside are 4x15. They are separated by a guillotine door that is raised up and down. This is a bonus for fearful, shy or anxious dogs that prefer not to have human contact. We are able to let them out, change water, clean run and feed, then let them back in. The suites are not shared with any other dog as cleanliness and safety are a priority. If you have multiple dogs we are able to put them in a run next to or across from each other. Small dogs may share a run as long as there is no food reactivity issues. These suites also offer Exercise Breaks in our large play yards where they can run, stroll, play ball and enjoy our playground equipment.

Additional options will be available at Lucky Mutz Luxury! Indulge at Woof Manor or The Retreat Suites. Larger suites that can hold multiple pets, webcams to see them while you are away, extra large beds with upgraded bedding, even their own T.V. for their viewing pleasure! These suites include four play yard potty breaks! Also, you may choose from our Ala Carte options for that extra pampering for your Mutz while you are away!
CLIMATE CONTROLLED/SECURITY CAMERAS
The dog suites are heated and air conditioned for the comfort of your pet. When the weather is nice, the runs are indoor/outdoor and they are free to come and go. In addition, we also have security cameras on our premises, inside and outside, for your pets safety.
LARGE OUTDOOR PLAY YARDS
Every dog enjoys sniffing about and picking just the right spot to potty in! Some dogs need exercise breaks and want to run and play in the yard, chase a ball, play on the playground toys or splash in the swimming pools! This creates a much more relaxed dog boarding experience and enhances their stay with us. Just request an "Exercise/Potty Break" when reserving their stay. Available ONLY at The Lodge.
"FREE" PUPDATES
We know how it feels to leave your pet behind and in the care of someone else. At Lucky Mutz we want you to relax while you're away and take comfort knowing they are well cared for and doing OK. Upon request, we offer complementary texts or emails with pictures of your pet and a quick pupdate letting you know how they are doing. It`s reassuring when you get a sweet picture of your baby. We are not JUST a dog kennel, we take pride in the care of your pet!
AFFORDABILITY
At Lucky Mutz Pet Resort we believe in creating an awesome experience at an affordable price. Our daily rates are very competitive and we offer 10% discount for two pets, and 20% discount for multiple pets of three or more. If you need a long term stay of 30 days or more you may enjoy a 20% discount (payable at the time the stay is reserved). Active military may enjoy a 10% savings.
